2017’s Top Tech for Dental Practices

Here at BF Mulholland, we aim to offer your dental practice the latest technology available, keeping you updated with our ever-expanding range of dental supplies. With the new year approaching and our online ‘One Stop Shop’ featuring 27,000 professional dental products, we’ve decided to handpick the top products for 2017.

Teeth whitening

An increasing number of us are endeavouring to reverse the effects of staining and discolouration and restore the natural whiteness of our teeth. Although teeth whitening is a perfectly safe procedure when carried out by a dentist, dental hygienist or dental therapist, the rise of beauty salons offering such services by staff who have not been properly trained or who do not own any dental qualifications carries risks to oral health. According to the NHS, this is also illegal. Although DIY home teeth whitening kits may sound like a temptingly quick fix, they don’t always contain a high enough percentage of the whitening product in order to be effective.

Boutique Whitening Kit By Day

Eliminate all risks and guarantee fast, visible results with the Boutique Whitening Kit By Day, available to purchase by registered dentists through the BF Mulholland website. This gel contains 6% hydrogen peroxide, which is the highest percentage formula available and releases oxygen free radicals to whiten patients’ teeth safely and effectively. For added comfort, Boutique Whitening Kit By Day also contains potassium nitrate, which works as a desensitiser.

Boutique Whitening Kit By Night

Achieving brighter, whiter teeth while you sleep couldn’t be easier with the Boutique Whitening Kit By Night, which contains 10% carbamide peroxide gel and gets to work by releasing oxygen free radicals overnight. You can rest assured that your patients will wake up beaming with their fantastic results!

Geistlich Bio-Oss Granules

In regenerative dentistry, Geistlich Bio-Oss® is renowned as the leading bone substitute worldwide, with over 900 publications documenting its success over the last 25 years of testing. It contains innovative osteoconductive properties and particles which incorporate with living bone over time to provide long-term preservation.

BF Mulholland is proud to offer such ground-breaking technology to your dental practice in the form of Geistlich Bio-Oss Granules, which aid the formation of new human bone due to their similar structure and chemical make-up. By ordering Geistlich Bio-Oss Granules from the Geistlich range on our website, you can confidently maintain high implant survival rates when using this bone graft substitute with your patients.

Secure Vault software

Backing up business and patient data in your dental practice is crucial, so why not match the excellent quality of your dental tools and customer care with our bespoke backup software? Avoid potential data loss with Secure Vault, which our team will happily configure to meet your individual needs. This software package backs up your whole system, including files and folders alongside dental X-rays and patient records. Secure Vault even provides protection against accidental deletion, hardware failure, theft, flood and fire because the backups are stored offsite in a locally run data centre.
