Alginor-Ortho is an orthodontic-specific alginate with a chromatic phase indicator. It boasts more than 100 hours of dimensional stability, so there’s no need to pour immediately. Its high elasticity and resistance to tears helps maintain accuracy for impressions with heavy undercuts and brackets.

The chromatic phase indicator helps with the preparation of impressions without having to worry about temperature changes or specific water hardness. If temperature changes modify working and setting time, the colour indicator will change accordingly. Alginor-Ortho chromatic phase indicator is a guarantee for perfect mixing and timely insertion in the oral cavity.

Purple: Spatulate until the pink colour appears.

Pink: Load the tray and wait for the white to appear.

Green: Insert in patient’s mouth to take the impression.

The set time in the mouth is only 30 seconds which allows for a more comfortable experience for your patient.

Alginor-Ortho can be used to prepare the following impressions:

preliminary models
