The powder contains vacuum dried polyacrylic acid and only has to be mixed with water. Safe and easy to use. Chemical bond to dentine and enamel. Anticariogenic - flouride release. High compressive strength, low solubility and low film thickness. Anhydrous material with benefits of mixing and storage. Translucency, fluoride release and radio-opacity. Aquacem addresses the problem of initial low pH usually associated with glas ionomer cements by its larger size and structure of the polyacrylic acid molecule that prevents it from penetrating the dentine tubules and causing irritation. Type of Cement : Glass Ionomer. Mixing Time : 15 secs. Working Time : 2.5 mins. Setting Time : 3.5 to 5 mins. Mixing Ratio : 1 scoop powder : 2 drops water.
